Finally!!!

I finally finished my Christmas card! Because it is *impossible* to get a decent picture of the 4 kids together, I did an individual photo of each of them. I love the way it turned out. I mailed them out this morning, so you may or may not get them by Christmas. So if you don't get it by Christmas.....Merry Christmas!

Bianca and Daniel are officially on vacation for the next two weeks! And Carlos is on vacation. So the holidays have officially begun around here. Christmas gifts are bought, wrapped and under the tree. Woohoo! I hope to do some holiday baking tomorrow. And beginning Sunday until Christmas day, it will be hectic! I'll be sure to take lots of pictures! Have a wonderful weekend and if I don't make it back on here before Christmas...have a *blessed* Christmas!

O' Christmas Tree!

So last week, we finally put up our tree. I just love the way it brightens the house. Ever since putting it up, it has really gotten me into the Christmas spirit but also in trouble with Carlos. hehe! I've been spending waaaaay to much money on Christmas this year. I think I'm kind of making up for last year when I was gynormous, on bed rest and in the middle of a major move. I had very little Christmas spirit then! But thank goodness that's over and behind me! I just love this shot I got of Daniel and Bianca in front of the tree. Here's Daniel putting up our 2007 ornament.

But unfortunately, I don't get to enjoy the tree as much as I'd like. We have to keep the doors to the living room closed because we have two little people like this who just want to know all the ornaments down and eat the tree. hehe!

Santa Baby!

Yeah! This will be Nataniel's first Christmas! Now isn't this the most adorable Santa you've ever seen?! Too cute! He looks so much like his Auntie Nancy! hehe! OK, I pushed it a bit there!

Last year, we added two to our Christmas list (the twins). This year, Nataniel was added! And next year, we will be adding Tatiana Brianna! Yep, my lil sis is having a girl!!!! I'm stoked! OK...no more babies!!! I'm gonna need to actually work outside the home just to afford Christmas gifts for all these kids. LOL!

More Digi Cards...

OK, I'm having so much fun creating these Christmas cards that I did some more. This is my baby sister and her son, Alex. I think this is such a sweet picture of them.

And here's another of Alex by himself. Which do you guys like better?

OK, I really need to stop making cards for other people and do my own. hehe!

Digi Fun...

Today, I had fun playing with some of my digital scrapbooking kits that I've downloaded. My little sis sent me some Christmas pictures of my adorable little nephew, Jayden, and asked me if I would put a Christmas card together for her. I did a few. So I thought I'd upload and get your opinions. Take a look....

So, what do you girls think? My favorite is the last one. I would really love your opinions! Thanks!

Scrap4Life Birthday Crop was....

a success!!! The site had a wonderful turnout! Woohoo!!! The DT girls, along with the members, did some really amazing creations! I didn't get to do as much as I would have liked but I did manage to get 2 layouts done. Here's a look at them...the pictures are old, from 98 and 99. Geez, where has the time gone?!

For the first one, we were challenge to use a xmas song in our layout and the main color of the layout had to be red. And for the second one, we had to use clear embellishments and alter them. I sprinkled some glitter on mine. Love the look of it.

I also gave this really simple class this weekend. Got the idea from the Crafts 'n Things December issue.

And just to give you a little smile to start off your week...here's Jaz playing peek-a-boo! Not because she's mine...but isn't she adorable?! hehe!

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!

Weekend in Orlando

Last weekend we headed up to Orlando (again). It's like my second home. It was Carlos' parents last weekend before heading back to Puerto Rico and we had game night! Woohoo! This time we had it at Willie and Elba's house. They have a beautiful home. Since it's Christmas time, we had a *cookie exchange* also. I made some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies; which I thought were pretty good, but the some of the kids didn't seem, too. Right, JR?! See JR, Zaida's son, tried to sneak behind my back and throw my cookie in the trash. hehe! It's all good! I have to say, everyone's cookies were delicious. I enjoyed bringing them home and eating them all. Here's a photo we got from that night:

The next day we headed to a Citrus Farm so the kids could pick some oranges. That was a first for us. It was so much fun! The kids really had a blast. Here's Daniel:

Of course, leave it to Kati to stand right in an *aunt hill* as soon as we get to the farm. She was not happy and refused to get out of her stroller. So...her Tio Johnny, who likes to *spoil* her, picked her up so she could reach for some oranges. But right back in the stroller she went. She would not put her feet on the ground

Of course, the twins didn't pick oranges but we had to pose them for the camera anyway. hehe!

And here they are enjoying the oranges!

Oh, and just a reminder...the Scrap4Life weekend crop is going on right now! There are some awesome classes and challenges. Don't forget stop by! And best of all, Jodie, the owner, is giving away a December kit and a $50 gift certificate to the store! You can't beat that!

Have a great weekend!!

Better late than never...

Last week I was so busy trying to finish up my projects for the December kit that I didn't get a chance to tell you all about my Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! This year we celebrated Thanksgiving at my house and oh, did we have a full house! But it was so much fun! We fried a turkey plus all the other traditional Puerto Rican favorites...like pernil (roasted pork), arroz con gandules, etc. And may I just add that I made some *mean* Sweet Potato pies. hehe! Here's a snapshot from that day:

One of the best things from that weekend was that my sister flew in from New York and I got to hang out with this handsome little guy. He was so tiny the last time I saw him. Isn't he just adorable in that tie?!

I think I may have gotten a little too *picture happy* because after awhile he wasn't too happy with me. Take a look for yourself.

My sister didn't seem to have a problem with the camera though. hehe!

I wasn't too sure how the twins were going to react with a new baby in the house, but the three of them seem to have hit it off just fine! Aren't these guys adorable?!

Merry & Bright - Scrap4Life December Kit

It's that time again! Woohoo! Scrap4Life just released it's December kit, Merry & Bright! I absolutely love this kit! The papers from Autumn Leaves were so much fun to work with! And the templates from The Crafter's Workshop are the best! They made doodling my swirls so much easier! I know I say it all the time, but really, this is one kit you really need to get your hands on! Not only that, but these Autumn Leaves papers are sold out almost everywhere! Let me stop babbling about the kit and just show you all a photo of it already.

Isn't it great?! Aren't those alterable ornaments from Creative Imaginations so cute?! Here are all the fun stuff I created using this kit (and I still have product left over)! Woohoo! More fun stuff to make!

Here's a close-up of some of my favs!

Look at how small Daniel was!! That photo was taken in 1998. I think Jazlyn looks so much like him. And I love this next one, too! That *snowflake* paper is just so cool! That's Bianca hard at work making snowflakes.

Here are a couple of other things I made using the kit:

This was my first time altering a bag, it was lots of fun! And like I said earlier, these ornaments are too cute! I did those swirls using the Crafter's Workshop template. Oh, and I know the photo is a *bit* old but that was all I could find for now. As soon as I get one with all the kids, I'll replace that one. hehe!

If you want to see the rest of the projects I created using the kit, just visit my gallery or Scrap4Life.com

I'll be back soon, I took some really cute pictures these past few weeks that I can't wait to share with you guys! Oh, and tomorrow I'm going shopping *sola*! My sweet husband took the day off from work to stay with the kids so that I could go Christmas shopping with my sister-in-law and mother-in-law! Love that man!
