Weekend Crop

So this past weekend, Scrap4Life hosted a weekend crop. I didn't get nearly as much as I would have liked but I did create some pages. Here are a few layouts I did:

This is Jaz last July. She had just learned to hold her head up. The challenge was to use green.

This is my little Miss B holdong a big chocolate KISS we got her for Valentine's Day. This layout was for a sketch challenge.

I just love these types of pictures. Again, my sweet Jaz.

So. I'm home from work today with two sick kids. But unfortunately still working. Gotta love tax season!

Scrap4Life March Kit...Spring Love

EEK! I can't believe it's been several weeks since I posted! Life has really gotten busy for me with the new job. But I know once tax season is over, things will slow down quite a bit.
So, I wanted to show you all the wonderful kit we put together for March at Scrap4Life. It was jammed pack with so many goodies! I had a blast working with it! Check out the March "Spring Love" Kit...........

And here are a few things I created using this kit!

I also used the big chipboard flower from Making Memories as a template to create the following layout of Jazlyn. Yes, that's her just learning how to walk.

And here's a little peak at what I get to play with for next month! I am ecstatic about this kit!

Long time no see....

Wow! It has been a long time since I posted! Life has gotten really busy around here. We're all still adjusting to the new schedule but for the most part everything is going really great! I really love my new job! The boss is very nice and is extremely flexible! The babies have adapted well to day care and Bianca absolutely loves her new school. Daniel is doing really good, too! Evenings are very hectic until the kids are down and then it's my time. Sometimes I scrap but if I'm extremely tired, I'll just slump onto the couch next to my hubby and watch some TV.

I actually have gotten a few layouts done! Woohoo! Not my usual amount but something is something. Here are a couple I'd like to share:

I did these using Scrap4Life's February kit. Here's Daddy holding Jeremy at only a couple of days old.

Mommy & Jazi

I also did a this older photo...as you can tell there are a *few* kids missing. hehe! This picture was taken in 2003. It was a gift for my parents on their 50th birthday.

Here's a layout I did using Bianca pre-school photo. Her first school pictures! Yes, Mom...I know! I still have to mail you yours.

Oh and btw, guess who's walking! The twins!!! Both of them! Jazlyn has been taking steps for a couple of weeks already and Jeremy finally let go this weekend! Oh boy! Am I in for it!! EEK!

I'm currently working on some assignments for Scrap4Life using March's kit. Here's a sneak peek for you. The kit will be released in just a few days! Woohoo! These kits have been selling out so make sure you grab yours FAST!

EXCITING NEWS!!

I am heading back to the workforce!!! I had offers with both firms that I had interviewed with. I thought it was going to take much longer considering I had been out of the workforce for 6 1/2 years. But it didn't! It only took two weeks! I thank God for that! Anyways, both of these firms gave me excellent offers...one was a bigger one with more opportunities for growth. The other one was a smaller firm but I could basically make my own hours and work from home. They were going to be much more flexible with me. It was such a hard decision to make. I was leaning toward the bigger firm but honestly, knew it would be too hard on the family. They are my priority right now and I have to do what will be right for all of us. So I took the offer with the smaller firm and start on Monday!!! I am so excited! The twins started daycare a week ago and are doing wonderful!! Jazlyn is still not too sure but Jeremy loves it. I also changed Bianca to their school and she absolutely loves it! I think it's because her baby brother and sister are there. So definitely alot of things going on here. I'm off to the mall to do some shopping for work clothes! Woohoo!! Have a wonderful day!

Super *Scrap* Bowl Weekend at Scrap4Life

Scrap4Life's Cyber Crop was rockin' this weekend! Here's what I did for the challenges over there:

FOREVER US

For this next layout, the challenge was to create an all black & white layout using a color photo. This is what I did. Not too happy with it but it's done. This is my sister and her husband (then boyfriend) at their prom.
PROM

And well, this is all I got done for the crop. I probably would have gotten more done but I spent most of the weekend trying to figure out what my oh, so wonderful husband did to my computer. He decided he'd clean it up. I told him to leave it alone. But, of course, he doesn't listen to me. I go to bed on Friday night and left him alone with my computer. Bad idea! He started deleting files and well, now I can't get on to my online galleries. Ugh! Gotta love him, though! His intentions were good, right?. hehe!

I also started this layout for the crop but didn't get it done on time. Finished it up this morning. This is my silly 4-year old! She loves music! Sometimes I feel like I have a teenager in the house. Here she is rockin' to the Cheetah girls!

These next two layouts I had started before the crop and had put them to the side. I was able to finish them up today, also.

I just love this one!

And can you believe this is the same kid that is flying in the air? Waaaaah!!! They grow up way too fast!

Well, I think I have some exciting news to share!! I'll be back later! Happy Monday!!
