Crazy Week

It's been a while since I updated here!  Last week so just so busy around here!!

Bianca made "Student of the Month"!!  We are so proud of her!!  She is doing extremely well in school!  They had a little awards ceremony for them.  She was excited with her award but not too excited about walking on stage in front of everyone.  hehe!

In addition, we celebrated Daniel's 11th birthday!  The boys had a blast!  And that cake, lasted like 2 seconds!  Nothing like a Cookies & Cream Ice Cream Cake from Cold Stone Creamery.

Bianca also had "Dress Up as a Princess" day at her dance class.  She was extremely excited about this.  She got to wear the "Sleeping Beauty" dress her Tio & Titi got her at Disney.  But for some reason I can't get those pictures uploaded here.  Frustrating!

In addition, the November kit was released at Scrap4life.com.  It is a gorgeous kit!  Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play with it much.  However, I did manage to create one layout with it.

These are some of the pictures we took of Jeremy at the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago.  He had a blast moving all those pumpkins around.

Hopefully, I'll find some time this week to create some more stuff with this kit!!  It's really a lot of fun!!

I also did one of the Scripture Challenges over at Faith Sisters.  The word that week was "fear".  As soon as I saw what that the word "fear", I knew exactly what verse I wanted to use...Jeremiah 29:11.  This is a verse I came across when I was pregnant with the twins and holds a special place in my heart.  It came to me at a time that I needed to hear it most!  Here's my card:

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Enjoy the rest of your week and may it be filled with God's wonderful blessings.

Pumpkin Festival

Yesterday, we spent the afternoon at the Pumpkin Festival with my sister-in-law and her family!  It was a perfect day!  The kids had a wonderful time and I had a wonderful time just watching them having fun!!  We first made our way through the Corn Maze!  We ran into a few dead ends but eventually made our way out!

After about 10 minutes in the maze, Bianca did not find this too fun!! hehe!  Such a girlie girl!

Afterwards, the kids played in the pumpkin patch for awhile.  They LOVED it!

I practically had to bribe Daniel to take this picture.  hehe!

Love this photo I got of Bianca!
Is that sweet or what?!  And she was able to pick that pumpkin up!

I think Jeremy had the most fun with the pumpkins!  He just loved picking them up and moving them all around!

So it's not the best shot of the 4 kids together but it was the only decent one I got.  I could not get them all to look at me or stay still!  Oh well!!

Oh, and they had the cutest little maze for the little ones.  Here's Bianca and Jaz running through the maze!

It was a wonderful afternoon!!

Scripture Challenges to share!

Just wanted to share these two "scripture cards" that I made a couple of weeks ago for the Faith Sister's Scripture Challenges.  These challenges have been so wonderful!  It is a great way to study God's Word.  I am even keeping a notebook of other verses I have found related to the different subjects.  Unfortunately, I can't fit all the verses on my card.  So I have been using the verse from the bible that spoke to me the most!

When I saw the word "treasure", I was a bit confused at first.  As I read Patter's devotion on "treasure", God was immediately speaking to me!  I knew I  had to do some re-prioritizing in my life!  With our busy lives, we tend to put God at the end of our "to-do" list.  I know I am guilty of this.  I am working everyday to put God first in all I do.  And when I forget, I now have my little card I can pull out to remind me!  I chose the following two verses for my card this week:

Corinthians 4:7 "But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us."

Matthew 6:21 "For where your treasure is, there your heart will also be."

I loved this week's scripture challenge on God's "leading"!  These past few weeks I have felt God speaking to me in so many different forms.  Following his lead is not always easy, matter of fact, it can be very hard at times.  For years, I have always done things my way and well, that got me nowhere!  I ask God every day to lead me in the right path and when I start to detour from that path, to give me the strength to get right back on it!  I chose the following verses for this week's card:

Psalm 25:5 "Guide me in your truth and teach me for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long."

I am also very excited!  Faith Sisters is having a nine week challenge...the challenge: "The True Meaning of Christmas"  I can't wait to get started!  I think I'm going to do a mini album that will be easy to share with the kids!  And they are offering a free digital kit to get started!  Although, I don't digi scrap, I downloaded it anyways!  It's gorgeous!  Go check them out!

Baby Boot Camp here I come!

I did it!  I signed up for Baby Boot Camp even though my babies are now going to be two years old!  eek!!  I have got to lose this weight!  I've gone to two of the classes and the girls from the group are great!!  And Jazlyn and Jeremy love it!!  They just find it hilarious to see mommy jumping up and down like a mad woman!  haha!  What I love is that it is more than just a work out group, it's also a social group.  I've already been to one of their playdates with the twins and they loved it!!  Now, to see this weight start disappearing!  Wish me luck, ladies!!

Now, on to some scrapbooking....here are two more projects I did using the October Kit from Scrap4Life.com.  And can you believe I still have 2 more projects in process using this kit?!  Wow!  It's really a lot of product for the price, ladies!!  There are still a few kits available!!

These photos are 10 years old!  eek!  That's me and Daniel when he was just a little baby!  Where does the time go?!!  I don't know if you can tell from the photo or not, but I was terrified of those deers!!  They kept attacking me for food!  The things you do for your kids!  LOL!

Just a little card I made using the October kit.  It was inspired by a card I saw in one of the card magazines.  Sorry, I can't remember which magazine it was now.

Ugh!  I can't believe it's Thursday already!  Carlos and I have a date tonight!  We are going to go watch the movie "Fireproof".  I've been wanting to go for some time now.  But if it wasn't one thing, it was another!  I think we are finally going to be able to make it!  Yeah!!

Have a blessed weekend!  It's a 3-day weekend here!  Kids are home from school tomorrow!

Silly Sock Day!

Bianca had "Silly Sock Day" at school on Friday!  I don't think this was "silly" but it was way too cute!!  Now, Bianca has a little "crush" on a boy name Justice at school.  How cute is that?!  So when she refused to smile for the camera, I said "Come on....Say 'Justice'"  Look at that face!  haha!!  I love it!!!

I was also able to do a couple more layouts with the October Kit from Scrap4Life.com!!  I am so lovin' this October Afternoon paper!  I just ordered some more of it!!!  Can't wait to get it!!!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!  May it be filled with many blessings from up above!!

Oh, almost forgot!  I used Sketch #84 from Mojoholder for this next layout!
