I'm still stuffed!

Wow!  Did we eat *good* this Thanksgiving!!!  I am still full!!  haha!  We spent the day with our friends and family in Orlando.  The food was absolutely delicious!  We ate, ate and ate!  Even the twins enjoyed the food!

Afterwards, we talked, laughed and played some karaoke!  It was a good time!  The next morning, I woke up early and headed shopping!  Yes, call me INSANE!  But it wasn't too bad!  I'm actually almost done with my Christmas shopping!  Woohoo!!!

Supplies Used:  Bazzill Cardstock, Cosmo Cricket Patterned Paper (Sunshine Collection), American Craft thickers, May Arts ribbon, Fancy Pants stick pins, Buttons, Black Zig Writer, Stampin' Up Ink (Classic Black)

I love Thanksgiving!!  Of course, I love all the wonderful food!  But more than that, I love spending time with friends and family!  Each of them is a true blessing in me life!  This week I have spent some time reflecting on all the wonderful blessings God has provided me!    And I thank Him everyday for these blessings!  I have a wonderful husband, 4 beautiful, healthy children, the best parents who I would do anything for, 3 beautiful sisters and tons of nieces and nephews.  Plus all the wonderful friends God has put in my life!  And during these rough economic time...we are OK!  I  have been blessed!

The following layout is about one of the biggest blessings God has given me and that is my children!

Recently, I read about a site called Make a Child Smile.  This site features children who unfortunately have some type of illness and are in and out of the hospital.  When I read about some of these children, my heart ached for them and their families.  As a parent, I can not even imagine how hard it must be to see your child suffering.  Again, it reminded me of how blessed I am that each of my children are truly healthy.  So, I wanted to share those blessings with these children.  All you have to do is send the children a card. On the site, you will find the "Featured Kids of the Month", kids who are in desperate need of your well wishes and a list of birthdays.  So the kids and I took some time out of our day to send these children cards letting them know that they are in our thoughts and prayers.  I encourage you to do the same.  Here are some of the cards we sent out!

Once again, have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!  God bless each and everyone of you!!!

Some cards!

I was cleaning out my scrap space and came across these scraps by 3 Bugs in a Rug.  The paper was just too cute so instead of trashing the scraps I was able to do 4 cards with them.  Woohoo!!!  They are very simple but fun!

Hope everyone's having a wonderful week!

Meeting Mickey!

Today, I met up with my sister in Orlando to take the twins to meet Mickey.   She's been wanting to take my nephew to a Disney Character Breakfast so that's what we did!

My nephew loved it!   He's 3!

Jeremy wasn't too sure!

Uhm, Jazlyn....she SCREAMED!!!

She was NOT happy at all!!!  Poor thing!

And Brianna, well, she could care less!!  haha!  She just sat there looking cute!

Afterwards, we went to Downtown Disney where the kids cooled off in the dancing fountains!

Have a BLESSED weekend!!!

Fun Day!

Yesterday, the kids had a great day!!!  Since the older kids were home from school and my sister has been in town visiting, we decided to head over to Busch Gardens for the afternoon.  And oh boy, did the twins have a fabulous time!!!  This was all pretty new to them and they went absolutely WILD!  It was so much fun to watch!!!  Here are a few pictures from our day!

I think Carlos was having more fun than the twins!  LOL!

Cruisin' on the boat with their cousin, Jayden!

Jaz on the carousel!

I love this one!!  Jeremy a bit intrigued with the dragon!

Here is Carlos and Jaz flying on the dragon.

Jayden and Jeremy cruisin'!

EEK!  This one scares me!  Could this be a glimpse of the future?!  My girls cruisin' together!   I don't even want to think about it!  lol!

I also did a bit of scrappin' last on Monday!!  Woohoo!!  Here's a layout of Jaz at the Pumpkin Patch a few weeks ago.  I used the Scrap4Life November Kit for this layout.  Love it!!

Enjoy the rest of your week!!!

Crazy Week

It's been a while since I updated here!  Last week so just so busy around here!!

Bianca made "Student of the Month"!!  We are so proud of her!!  She is doing extremely well in school!  They had a little awards ceremony for them.  She was excited with her award but not too excited about walking on stage in front of everyone.  hehe!

In addition, we celebrated Daniel's 11th birthday!  The boys had a blast!  And that cake, lasted like 2 seconds!  Nothing like a Cookies & Cream Ice Cream Cake from Cold Stone Creamery.

Bianca also had "Dress Up as a Princess" day at her dance class.  She was extremely excited about this.  She got to wear the "Sleeping Beauty" dress her Tio & Titi got her at Disney.  But for some reason I can't get those pictures uploaded here.  Frustrating!

In addition, the November kit was released at  It is a gorgeous kit!  Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play with it much.  However, I did manage to create one layout with it.

These are some of the pictures we took of Jeremy at the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago.  He had a blast moving all those pumpkins around.

Hopefully, I'll find some time this week to create some more stuff with this kit!!  It's really a lot of fun!!

I also did one of the Scripture Challenges over at Faith Sisters.  The word that week was "fear".  As soon as I saw what that the word "fear", I knew exactly what verse I wanted to use...Jeremiah 29:11.  This is a verse I came across when I was pregnant with the twins and holds a special place in my heart.  It came to me at a time that I needed to hear it most!  Here's my card:

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Enjoy the rest of your week and may it be filled with God's wonderful blessings.
