I couldn't wait to scrap these goofy pictures I took of Jeremy this summer.    So when one of the challenges at Scrap4Life was to create a summer themed page..I knew exactly what I wanted to do!

As I've said a million times, Jeremy is our little goofball.  hehe!  While at the beach a few weeks ago, he had us cracking up!  Take a look for yourself to see what I mean!  LOL!

I finally had a chance to work with one of these incredible sketches at 2 Sketches 4 U.  I'm not much of a card maker but had tons of fun doing it.

Thanks for the inspiration, Laura and Kazan!  I can't wait to see next week's sketch!!

Oh, and I also worked on a Scrap4Life challenge..."Make it Yours".  I was inspired by Marci aka marcibun at Scrap4Life.com in creating this next layout.  I love how it turned out!

Oh, and I picked up my August kit from Scrap4Life today!!!  I can't wait to start!!  It's going to be lots of fun!!!

Last Goodbye...

A couple of weeks ago I had gotten a phone call from family in Puerto Rico that my grandmother was very sick and was probably in her last days of life.  My heart ached as this was a very special lady.  She was the sweetest person and was loved by so many people.  I contemplated for days about going to see her; I knew it would be difficult to take the kids.  But my wonderful husband, along with my amazing neighbor, Migdalia, and her daughter, Migna, took care of things at home so that I could fly to Puerto Rico.  Thank you guys so much!!!  You are a true blessing!  I arrived Wednesday night into Puerto Rico and went straight to the hospital from the airport.  Although it was a short visit with my grandmother, it will be one I will cherish forever!  Not only did she recognize me and call my name, but as I was leaving, she blew me a kiss as I told her "Te quiero mucho!"  I will hold that image of her in my mind forever as the next morning she passed away.  I am at peace because she lived a full life and is no longer suffering on the hospital bed.  Although she will be extremely missed, she is in a better place now.  And that gives me peace!

On a brighter note, I was finally able to meet my beautiful baby niece, Brianna.  She is so adorable and looks so much like her "Titi Nancy"  hehe!  Here a couple pics I took of her:

I must say, although I enjoyed seeing all my family in Puerto Rico again.  I am soooooooo  happy to be home.  The weather was so miserable.  Jazlyn was miserable.  I was miserable.  It is nice to be back in my nice air conditioned home again with my beautiful family.

Ugh! It's Monday!

After a nice long weekend, it's back to reality today.  We had a great July 4th weekend!!  We were busy, busy, busy!!  On Thursday, we took the kids to Adventure Island for a few hours.  Then on Friday we headed over to my SIL's in Orlando for a cook out and fireworks.  The twins did not care for the fireworks at all!!  Jazlyn was terrified!  Poor baby!  Then on Saturday, I headed back to Orlando to hit the outlet mall.  I'm especially addicted to the Coach store.  I bought me a very cute bangle to match the wrislet I bought there last weekend.  EEK!  Carlos might send me back to work!  hehe!  Then on Sunday we went to a baseball game and they had fireworks afterward.  It was a wonderful weekend!

I did get some scrappin' done last week!  Here are a few things I did using the Tin Soldier collection from Piggy Tales.  Piggy Tales was S4L's Manufacturer of the Month for June.

Here's my little Jeremy...always on the go!

These are pictures I took of Jeremy last September.  I just love that hat on him.

And this photo was taken over 10 years ago.  That's me and Daniel.

Hope everyone has a great week!!!

Scrap4Life July Kit -NOW AVAILABLE!

OMG!!!  I had so much fun creating with this kit!!!  I think I may have actually gotten a bit carried away!  LOL!!!  It's so great!  I was a bit skeptical about the patriotic theme but this kit doesn't have to be used only for patriotic pages.  It is so versatile!  You can do so many different things with it.  Check out the kit and the pages & cards I did using the kit!

I had a little photoshoot with the kids last weekend for the Photography 101 classes being offered at Scrap4Life.  This is one of the shots I got of Jaz.

Here are some shots I got of Bianca from my little photoshoot last weekend.  Of course, she's got to do the whole modeling thing.  She sure is our future "Miss America".  LOL!

Here is Jeremy enjoying his first encounter with M&M's.  That boy of mine!

The next two layouts are of Daniel taken over 10 years ago!!!  Waaaaaah!!  Where does the time go?  These pictures were actually taken professionally.  They are some of my favorite photos of Daniel as a baby.  That middle one still cracks me up!

And in this next one, it blows my mind how much him and Jazlyn look alike!

The following are a couple of cards I made with the kit!  I'm not much of a card maker but had fun with them anyways.

You can see what some of the other girls did using the kit by visiting Scrap4Life.com.
